sadasdfvsa today at work I announced the total for a customer’s purchases but as I did I got distracted by something to the side and looked away and just stared into the middle distance for a good few seconds before snapping out of it and turning back to take the woman’s money
and I was like “oh sorry, I zoned out for a second there”
and she stared at me and said “wow I did too! did we zone out at the same time?”
turns out neither of us noticed the other had zoned out because we were too busy zoning out ourselves it was an ethereal moment I will never forget
